Kells Stainless operate and ISO 9001/2000 quality system and together with rigorous inspection procedures ensures a high standard of quality control throughout our operations.

Only ISO Approved Sub-suppliers are used for supply of components or provision of services.

Kells Quality System has also been registered to the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC by Notified Body, Royal & Sunalliance. This allows Kells to apply the CE mark under Module D of the PED, without the requirement of Royal & Sunalliance inspection during the fabrication process of pressure equipment.

All Published Standards held within Kells, such as welding, design codes etc, are constantly monitored externally with PLUS. Kells is a member of the British Standards Institute which operates PLUS. The BSI maintain a full list of Kells Stainless Standards and advise on a monthly basis if any standards are revised or withdrawn through the PLUS system. This ensures that all Standards are always up-todate, accurate and inline with current industry practices.
