Finishing

Key to the quality of all our products is finishing. Segregated in a 200 square metre polishing facility, our Farrous Blatter Automatic Mechanical Polishing machine can polish vessel shells and dished ends up to 4.5m diameters and we use Diamond tipped calibrated Profilometers to verify and document surface finishes.

Manual polishing is carried out in a separate ventilated area from our production to ensure that dust is contained. Our Stainless steel polishers are highly skilled and motivated to provide the finish required to match the best industrial standards.

Electro polished finishing can also be offered as an option

Passivation, degreasing and cleaning are all carried out in house, either to Kells procedures or specific client requirements.

Demineralised water is used for all product contact processes when requested by a client.
